According to the U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics, overall employment of advertising, marketing, promotions, public relations and sales managers is expected to increase by 13 percent through 2018, and employers often prefer a bachelor's or master's degree in business administration with an emphasis on marketing. Courses in business law, international business, management, economics, accounting, finance, mathematics and statistics are advantageous.*

The New York State Board of Regents also authorizes Briarcliffe to offer Diploma, Associate degree and Bachelor's degree programs.
