The Career Services Department at Briarcliffe College offers students the assistance they need to find part-time employment opportunities within their chosen career path while attending school, as well as suitable employment opportunities after graduation. As a student at Briarcliffe College, you will have access to informative seminars to help you write your resume and cover letter.
You can learn how to conduct a job search in your career field with the help of designated representatives who serve as liaisons between students and employers. Recruitment opportunities, including job fairs, online job fairs and graphic portfolio nights, are arranged each semester at our Briarcliffe College campuses. We encourage students to interview both on and off campus to find the best opportunities for them in their chosen career field.
Students are required to attend a Career Skills Workshop during their last semester in order to receive their degree or diploma. This workshop will address resume writing, interviewing techniques and job search strategies. All graduates will need to complete the workshop, as well as submit a final resume to their career services representative.
