Fox News Channel's Brian Kilmeade Will Deliver The Keynote Address

Brian Kilmeade, co-host of the Fox News Channel (FNC) top-rated weekday morning show, Fox & Friends, and host of Brian and the Judge on Fox News Radio, will deliver the keynote address at the commencement exercises for Briarcliffe College on Saturday, May 31, 2008.

Over 800 graduates from the Bethpage, Patchogue and Queens Center campuses of Briarcliffe College will receive their diplomas, with 3,500 family, friends and faculty expected to attend.

Kilmeade, a native of Massapequa and a graduate of Long Island University, will receive an honorary doctoral degree, Doctor of Humane Letters, Honoris Causa, from Briarcliffe.

In extending Mr. Kilmeade the invitation to speak, Dr. George Santiago, Jr, president of Briarcliffe College and the Board of Trustees expressed their appreciation for his integrity as a newsman, and “his perspectives on America's presence throughout the world. We know that he will speak to our students on matters important to their futures.”

Kilmeade began his career as a correspondent on "Channel One," a daily national high school television news program. He then served as an anchor/host for KHSC-TV in Ontario, California and also co-hosted "The Jim Brown Show" on XTRA-AM, an all-sports radio network. In addition, Kilmeade is the author of The New York Times bestseller "The Games Do Count," as well as "It's How You Play the Game."
