Briarcliffe College honors Constitution Day: Sept 10-17th
September 17, 2012
Monday, September 17th marks the 225th anniversary of the United States’ founding document, the Constitution. The U.S. Constitution is one of the most influential legal documents in existence. Since its creation, some two hundred years ago, over one hundred countries around the world have used it as a model for their own.
The program this year will be held during the week of September 10th-17th, and will include: book and poster displays, an online contest, pocket Constitutions, and the Briarcliffe College Library staff will be tweeting Constitution-related trivia throughout the week. On Monday, September 17, 2012, Briarcliffe College will be holding presentations on each campus to educate and inform students, faculty and staff about the Constitution and issues surrounding it.
The contest will run from September 10-17, 2012.
The Briarcliffe Library staff created an online Constitution Day research guide for students, faculty, and staff. Enjoy!
