On Jan 28th and 29th, 2012 the men and women's bowling teams competed in the Blue and Orange and Westchester Invitational. The women won both tournaments. The men finished 3rd and that Blue and Orange but came back and won the next day at the Westchester Invitational. Individual accomplishments are below:
Blue and Orange: Jan 28th
Nick Lombardi and Jack Castellano placed 2nd in doubles
Nick Lombardi placed 3rd in All-Events
Danielle Cessman and Tara Ernst placed 3rd in doubles
Danille Cessman won singles and All-Events
Taylor Maharaj placed 2nd in singles and All-Events
Tara Ernst placed 3rd in singles and All-Events
Westchester Invitational: Jan 29
Jack Castellano and Nick Lombardi won doubles
Jared Burns and Tommy Nelson placed 3rd in doubles
Tommy Nelson won singles and placed 3rd in All-Events
Jack Castellano won All-Events
Stephanie Guzik and Tara Ernst won doubles
Gina Capone and Danielle Cessman placed 2nd in doubles
Danielle Cessman won singles
Tara Ernst won All-Events and placed 2nd in singles
Gina Capone was 2nd in All Events
Stephanie Guzik was 3rd in singles and All-Events
Both the men and women’s bowling team won their division in both tournaments. There were also several individual awards that the bowlers received.
Suffolk Invitational: (men and women won tournament) Jan 21st
Jack Castellano and Nick Lombardi won doubles
Jack Castellano won All-Events
Nick Lombardi was third in All-Events
Stephanie Guzik and Zufiye Bademci won doubles
Tara Ernst and Danielle Cessman were 2nd in doubles
Tara Ernst won singles and was second in All-Events
Stephanie Guzik was second in singles and won All-Events
Danielle Cessman was third in All Events
Viking Classic: (men and women won tournament) Jan 22nd
Jack Castellano and Nick Lombardi won doubles
Darrin McGarrity and Matt Citro were third in doubles
Tom Nelson won singles
Jack Castellano won All-Events
Nick Lombardi was second in All-Events
Gina Capone and Taylor Maharaj won doubles
Tara Ernst and Danielle Cessman were second in doubles
Danielle won singles and was second in All-Events
