For students interested in the spirit of camaraderie and competitive intercollegiate team sports, participation in college athletics can provide a central component of student life on campus.
Briarcliffe College provides a variety of sports that enables students to develop their leadership, teamwork and cooperative skills while pursuing their studies. The College is a member of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA), the Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA) and the United States Bowling Collegiate (USBC).
Men’s sports include baseball, lacrosse, bowling, and soccer. Women’s sports include softball, bowling, and, basketball.
Students interested in participating in the intercollegiate sports program should contact the Athletic Department.

EQUITY IN ATHLETICS DISCLOSURE REPORTING
Briarcliffe College prepares a report to comply with the Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act (EADA) of 1994, section 485g of the Higher Education Act of 1965, 20 U.S.C. 1092. All coeducational institutions of higher education that participate in any federal student financial aid program and have intercollegiate athletic programs must provide information concerning their intercollegiate athletics programs under the EADA. The report includes statistics on athletics participation, coaching staff and salaries, athletically related student aid and recruiting expenses.
