Welcome to Briarcliffe College - Queens!

In over four decades of serving Long Island, Briarcliffe College has seen the area’s population grow, and we have responded to that growth. In 2006, Briarcliffe College extended its programs and services to students living in and around Queens at a site in Long Island City. We received approval for Center status in Queens in November 2007.

Our expansion has also included an increase in the number of adult students who attend Briarcliffe. To meet the unique needs of working adults, we established an academic calendar that is specially structured to enable students who work during the day to attend school full-time in the evenings.

Briarcliffe also works closely with local businesses, seeking their input and utilizing their expertise to help shape our curriculum and to ensure that Briarcliffe students receive an education specifically designed to expand their employment opportunities.

Students can begin taking courses at Briarcliffe's Queens Center but must take their last 3 credits and complete their degree at the Bethpage location.
