Briarcliffe College is accredited by The Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. The commission on Higher Education is an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Commission on Higher Education Accreditation.
In over four decades of serving Long Island, Briarcliffe College has seen the area’s population grow, particularly in the eastern part of the Island, and we have responded to that growth. In the 1980s, we established a second campus in Patchogue, providing convenient access to day and evening classes for residents throughout Suffolk County.
Our expansion has also included an increase in the number of adult students who attend Briarcliffe. To meet the unique needs of working adults, we established an academic calendar that is specially structured to enable students who work during the day to attend school full-time in the evenings.
Briarcliffe also works closely with local businesses, seeking their input and utilizing their expertise to help shape our curriculum and to ensure that Briarcliffe students receive an education specifically designed to expand their employment opportunities.
At Briarcliffe College, help is never far away, so please feel free to contact us at any time to learn more about our school and programs or to apply for admission. Please note that not all programs are available at all locations.
