The Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management is designed to develop in students the knowledge, skills, and competencies necessary to gain entry into the contemporary business world.
The Medical Practice Management concentration focuses on strategies for fiscal management, marketing, information technology, legal and tax issues, benefits and compensation, office operations, coding, and human resource matters that administrators of a practice and managers often face daily. Students focus on ways to deliver high quality care, increasing patients' satisfaction and improving medical practices' profitability. As changes in healthcare delivery systems continue to evolve, medical practice operations will also change, requiring new strategies.
Students who are interested in the concentration should have successfully completed an Allied Health related Associate’s Degree or Diploma Program or be licensed/certified in an Allied Health field.
