In this curriculum, students study graphic design from its earliest historical roots as a method of visual communication, to modern, interactive multimedia. Students will also learn about designing for print while they explore the new media fields of web design, multimedia and animation..

The Briarcliffe AAS in Graphic Design enables students to explore the diverse tools, methods and social roles design has played in society, while focusing on the contributions of graphic design to social interaction and the significant contributions designers have made to our culture..
